Everything you need to know about Tilawat
How do I record a recitation?
Only reciters can upload recitations. Tap the "+" button in the app to start recording. You can record complete surahs or freestyle passages from the Quran. Make sure you have a quiet environment and good audio quality for the best results.
How do I follow other reciters?
Visit any user's profile and tap the "Follow" button. You'll see their recitations in your feed and receive notifications when they post new recitations.
Is Tilawat free to use?
Yes! Tilawat is completely free to use with no hidden costs. You can record, share, and discover recitations without any fees. We will never show ads or charge for features.
What devices support Tilawat?
Tilawat is currently available for iOS devices through the App Store. Download it on your iPhone or iPad to start sharing and discovering recitations.
Is my data private and secure?
Absolutely. We take your privacy seriously. Your data is securely stored using Firebase, and we never share your personal information. You can make your account private and control who sees your content.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, you can delete your account anytime from the Settings page. This will permanently remove your profile, recitations, and all associated data from our systems.

Account Deletion
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- User profile and account information
- All recitations (posts)
- Likes and follow relationships
- Feed data
Some data may remain in backups temporarily. Comments on others' posts may remain visible.
Children's Privacy
Tilawat is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover such collection, we will delete it immediately.
International Users
Tilawat is operated from the United States. If you use Tilawat from outside the US, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Please review this policy regularly.
